Student Voice

'A body of students whose purpose is to represent their peers and be part of a forum which is active, positive and contributes towards the daily life of the school community'.

The Student Voice consists of elected representatives from each group led by our Senior Leadership Students.  Student Voice meets every week at 8.40am in room 105 every Thursday morning with Miss Rowe.

The aims of the Student Voice are to enable students to become partners in their own education, make a positive contributions to the school environment and ethos, but also to provide a basis for active learning of important life skills, such as speaking, listening, teamwork, emotional literacy, problem-solving, moral reasoning, self-esteem and self confidence.

The students make up the following groups: Environment, Teaching and Learning, Fundraising, Communications and Training.  Some of the initiatives students continue to participate in include: whole school fundraising events eg for non-uniform days, Red Nose Day, collaboration with our café, peer mediation training through our anti-bullying policy and Bucks Student Voice.
