Pupil Premium

The Government has introduced the Pupil Premium into main school funding to address inequalities between children eligible for free school meals (FSM), looked after children or children of armed forces families and their peers by ensuring that funding reaches the pupils who need it most.

Schools are free to spend the Pupil Premium as they see fit. However, they will be held accountable for how it has been spent to support students. We are also required by the Department for Education to publish this information online. This will ensure that parents are fully aware of the money received and how it is spent.

At the Misbourne, we look at how we use this Pupil Premium funding to ensure that all students progress to a high standard.
